More Than 20 Years of Experience, Brought Together for One Unforgettable Day
My journey as a DJ began more than 20 years ago – first as a radio presenter and later as a club DJ. Radio taught me how to work with music, voice and an audience, while the club environment taught me how to read the dance floor and respond to the energy of the people in front of me.
Over time, my professional path naturally led me towards weddings – an environment where music is only one part of the overall experience. Today, weddings are at the heart of my work, combining my experience as a DJ and MC with the planning and coordination that help bring the entire day together.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working as a DJ and MC at numerous international weddings, with guests from many different countries. Working in this environment requires excellent organisation, confident communication in English and the ability to bring different traditions together, so that every guest feels like a natural part of the celebration.
Whether the wedding is entirely Bulgarian or brings together families and friends from different parts of the world, my goal remains the same – for everyone to share an unforgettable evening. Every wedding is different. Different people. Different stories. Different dreams. But one thing always remains the same – the trust couples place in me when they entrust me with one of the most important days of their lives. I never take that trust for granted. Being elected Chairman of the National Association of Professional Wedding DJs for two consecutive terms is an honour I accept with gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility. To me, it represents the trust of fellow professionals who work in the wedding industry every day and understand the profession from the inside. It motivates me to keep developing, sharing experience with others and maintaining high professional standards in every event I undertake.
When I'm not behind the DJ booth, you'll most likely find me behind the wheel… or underneath a VW Bus.
I'm married and a father of three. Our whole family loves to travel, and every year we try to discover new countries, beautiful places and interesting routes with our beloved classic VW Bus T3. For us, travelling is not simply about getting from one place to another – it's about the experience, spending time together and creating new memories
My love for these vehicles has long been more than just a hobby. Since 2016, I have been Chairman of VW Bus Club Bulgaria, and in 2011, together with my friend Themis from Greece, I helped start Balkan Bus Meeting – an international gathering that has grown over the years into one of the largest events for the VW Bus community in the Balkans.
For many years, I've followed one simple rule, no matter how busy the wedding season gets – every summer, I set aside two weeks in July just for my family and travelling. I know that July is one of the busiest months for a wedding DJ, but work isn't everything to me. I believe we need to make time for the people we love, to travel, discover new places and simply stop for a moment. Because, at the end of the day, life isn't all about work. There needs to be a balance.
Maybe that's exactly why, after every trip, I come back to my weddings with even more energy, ideas and enthusiasm for what I do.
When the wedding season comes to an end and everyday life becomes a little quieter, it's time for my other big passion – restoring classic VW Bus T3s. I enjoy bringing these old vehicles back to life, and I probably spend almost as much time in the garage as I do behind the DJ booth during the summer.
So, in a way, my year naturally divides into two seasons – during one, I create atmosphere and memories at weddings; during the other, I give old VW Buses a new lease of life.
And whenever there's some time in between the two – we travel. 😊
Style of Work
Every wedding begins with a dream.
A dream that everything will look beautiful, that your guests will have a wonderful time and that the dance floor will stay full until the end of the night. That the people closest to you will be smiling, while you can simply enjoy every moment without worrying about whether everything is going according to plan. That is exactly why I love what I do.
For me, a good wedding DJ is not simply someone who chooses the next song. It is someone who reads the mood, coordinates the key moments and creates an atmosphere where every generation can find its place on the dance floor.
Music is not the only way I like to contribute to the celebration. I also enjoy creating fun moments through light-hearted entertainment, games and activities that involve the guests. Because a wedding is not simply a party – it is a family celebration, with room for meaningful traditions, favourite music, dancing, laughter and shared moments.
I believe good entertainment should complement the celebration, not interrupt it. That is why I choose games and activities according to the people, the mood and the individual wedding – without rigid scripts and without putting guests in situations where they feel uncomfortable.
My goal is simple – music that everyone enjoys, moments that bring people together and memories that stay with you long after the last song.
Peace of Mind Is Part of Good Organisation
On your wedding day, there is really only one thing you should have to think about – enjoying your celebration.
When the first dance starts, whether the microphone is working, what song comes next or whether everything is running according to schedule – these are things I take care of.
Long before the first guest arrives, the equipment is prepared, the programme has been discussed, and the important moments have been planned and checked. From our first meeting to the final song of the evening, my role is to make sure everything happens smoothly, on time and without unnecessary stress.
Because good organisation should not be something you notice – it should simply be something you feel.
